Consumer Action Network soon will be conducting FAIR Housing Trainings. CAN will conduct these sessions to ensure that Consumers who are experiencing or have experienced the following: housing Discrimination, eviction or Foreclosure. To resolve these issues CAN will have education, training and mediation support. Through mediation we will work to resolve any of the aforementioned issues. We will also provide resources and information necessary for a successful tenancy leading to either independent living or potential home ownership.

Given the current social restrictions, we are unable to participate in any large gatherings. We are planning to begin these training sessions when local social distancing guidelines have been relaxed.  We would like to invite your facility to participate.  We invite you to inform CAN of available calendar dates to conduct this training for your residents. These dates are subject to change due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and self-isolation and social distancing guidelines. Check back regularly for updates, including online resources that will work to supplement these in-person courses.
