Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)  
Helps District residents earning less than 40% of the Area Median Income (AMI) who are facing housing emergencies, by providing funding for overdue rent including late fees and court costs if the qualified household is facing eviction. The program also supports security deposits and the first month's rent for residents moving into new apartments. The amount paid on behalf of eligible households depends on a household's income and available resources and is subject to certain limitations.

Mayor’s Office on Returning Citizen Affairs (MORCA) 
On behalf of the Mayor, MORCA serves as the District of Columbia’s coordinating and advisory agency for reentry. MORCA seeks to remove barriers to reentry and empowers residents to break the cycle of recidivism. Through MORCA case management program MORCA ensures that previously incarcerated people are connected to essential programs and services in areas such as employment, health, education, housing assistance, and social services.

University Legal Services  
University Legal Services (ULS) is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3), community-based organization that provides housing counseling, tenant purchase/asset management assistance to low and moderate incomes persons throughout the District of Columbia. ULS also serves as the Protection and Advocacy (P&A) agency for the District of Columbia through our Disability Rights DC (DRDC) unit. Through DRDC, we advance the mission to advocate for the human, civil and legal rights and protections of people with disabilities.
